Your day begins with a tropical mountain perspective of O'ahu on an exclusive 2-mile round-trip hike to Bike Hawaii's own private 200 foot cascading waterfall. No overcrowding from public access and no other tour company can take you here! Enjoy this mild to moderate hike along a tropical stream on Bike Hawaii's 75 acre rainforest with ancient lo'i (terraces) where native Hawaiians once cultivated kalo (taro). Tropical trees, plants and birds are seen along with narration from our eco-guides.

Then, you'll be shuttled by van neatly 2000 feet up into an ancient rainforest which covers 3 extinct volcanic cinder cones which last erupted approximately 10,000 years ago. From here, you'll coast downhill aboard one of Bike Hawaii's top quality bikes for over 5 miles on a lush, paved mountain road to where our deli-lunch stop provides scenic views high above Waikiki, Honolulu and Manoa Valley. Listen to the songs of birds, the wind through the trees and learn about the culture, plants and geology of the Hawaiian Islands. Get a sense of Hawaii past and present...Bike & Hike it!

 

This tour is an EASY RIDE and MILD TO MODERATE HIKE.

Guests must be at least 4 feet tall to ride Bike Hawaii's Bikes.

There is a light deli style lunch included in the price of the tour. When booking this tour, please be sure to provide each guest's preferred lunch option: Turkey, Roast Beef, Ham or Vegetarian.

Confirmation & Travel Voucher

For every confirmed booking you will receive an e-mail with a link to your E-Ticket Voucher. Print vouchers on your home/ office printer. Please present this E-Ticket voucher at the Box Office. Only one voucher will be created per tour or activity for all travelers.

This tour must be booked at least 24 hours in advance of your travel date. Your confirmation for this product will be received within 12- 24 hours subject to availability.

Cancellation and No Show Policy

Cancellations within 24 hours of the tour are charged 50%. Cancellations prior to 24 hours are charged a minimum $10.00 per person administration fee. NP SHOWS on tour dates are charged 100%. Some specific tours and activities have a higher cancellation fee due to the limited space available.

Recommended for all tours with Bike Hawaii: Wear comfortable shoes and socks. Bring an extra pair of tall socks for added comfort when wearing Bike Hawaii's provided rubber boots for crossing streams. Also suggested: an extra layer of warm clothing, hats, visors, sunglasses and a camera.

Weather: Tour route or activity may be changed depending on local weather conditions.
