5,000 species of plants bathe in the, fragrant mists produced by over 185 inches of rainfall every year. As we explore the 200 acre garden, colorful blossoms including bromeliads, hibiscus and orchids surround you while tropical birds sing nearby. Your nature guide will provide information about the garden’s interesting history and efforts to save some of the rarest plants in the world.

After departing Lyon Arboretum you will visit the picturesque Chinese Great Ancestors Mound perched high on a grass covered hill below Pu'u Pia. Traveling through the historic valley you will learn about the fascinating local history and mythology. The ancient, cloud-swept, emerald green hills have witnessed a steady procession of uses on the valley floor, from Hawaiian taro farms, to cattle ranches, coffee plantations and Japanese rice paddies.

We then visit Pu'u 'Uala-ka'a located 1,048 feet above Waikiki. From this lofty vantage point you have a breathtaking 180 degree panoramic view of Oahu’s scenic southeast coastline and sometimes a glistening double rainbow arching across the Valley of the Rainbows far below.

For every confirmed booking you will receive an e-mail with a link to your E-Ticket Voucher. Print vouchers on your home/ office printer. Please present this E-Ticket voucher at the Box Office. Only one voucher will be created per tour or activity for all travelers.

This tour must be booked at least 24 hours in advance of your travel date. Your confirmation for this product will be received within 12-24 hours subject to availability.

Cancellation and No Show Policy

Cancellations within 24 hours of the tour are charged in full. Cancellations prior to 24 hours are charged a minimum $10.00 per person administration fee. We charge for NO SHOWS. No Shows on tour dates are charged 100%. Some specific tours and activities have a higher cancellation fee due to the limited space available.

Recommended for all Oahu Nature Tours: Comfortable shoes, extra layer of warm clothing, hats, visors, sunscreen, sunglasses and camera.

Weather: Tour route or activity may be changed depending on local weather conditions.

Meals, Gratuities and Souvenirs are not included.
